INTER COACH CONTE DEMANDS MORE FROM SANCHEZ, EYES REPLACEMENT

Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte has called on winger Alexis Sanchez to improve his game and get involved in more goals for the club. The Chilean winger has been struggling for form and consistency so far this season and is on the cusp of losing his place in the first team if he fails to show any signs of improvement, according to his manager.


Following his side’s defeat to Andrea Pirlo’s Juventus in the first legof their Coppa Italia clash earlier this week, Conte pinpointed that the game would have had an entirely different result if his Attackers did better than they did on the pitch. He particularly singled out Sanchez and insisted that the winger should do better and improve his game or risk losing his starting spot. Conte Praises Strikers after Win over Slavia Prague

Antonio Conte praised his strikers after they were able to get Inter Milan to a 3-1 win over Slavia Prague in the Champions League. This was a decisive game for the Italian outfit, who were trailing Borussia Dortmund in the group stages going into the last two matches. If not for this victory, Inter would be stuck in the third place and potentially heading to a Europa League spot in the knockout stages.


Now, Inter have given themselves a huge chance of reaching the Champions League last 16 even if the team needs to overcome Barcelona in the last game.
Lautaro Martinez was able to come up with two goals while Romelu Lukaku added a third for the Italian team. The former opened the scoring after just 19 minutes when he was assisted by the Belgian.

Ivan Perisic insists he could not turn down Bayern Munich move

Croatian winger Ivan Perisic has said that he could not turn down a move to Bayern Munich after the offer came by. The 30-year-old was widely expected to leave Inter Milan this summer after falling down the pecking order under manager Antonio Conte but the move to the Bavarian giants certainly came out of the blue.

Speaking to reporters, Perisic acknowledged that things happened very quickly with respect to the transfer and he did not have much to ponder regarding the move to the German champions, he said: “Everything happened very quickly. I only needed a couple of hours to decide and to speak to my family. You can’t say no when a club like Bayern Munich calls you. I’ve got a lot of experience and that helps me.
