Sneijder advises Lautaro Martinez to stay at Inter

 

Former Inter Milan midfielder Wesley Sneijder has advised that the Lautaro Martinez should stay at Inter and focus on being successful rather than going to Barca on the summer transfer window. Martinez has been highly linked with a move to Barcelona and many have advocated his decision to go and some have suggested him to avoid the transfer. Messi has been strongly supporting on his arrival to Barcelona. In this season he has scored 12 goals and assisted three goals with 22 matches for the club.


Sneijder who has played in Ajax, Real Madrid, Galatasaray, and some other clubs advises that it is too soon for a young a player like him and he should focus on the current club.

Sneijder has told that with the potential of becoming of one of the best players on the world. But first, he needs to win a trophy with Inter. If he wants to move to another club then he should be preferring Real Madrid rather than Barcelona.

The former midfielder also had a comment for the player Christian Eriksen who was transferred to Inter on the January transfer window from Tottenham. But with the advent of coronavirus, he was only able to play on the first four matches. Sneijder said that Christian has good potential and he has done well in both of his previous clubs Tottenham and Ajax. He believes that he can do the same in Italy too. With quality and skill, he can become one ofthe leaders of the group.

He also commented on his former teammate Mario Balotelli who is in a dispute with the club Brescia. He says that he a strong player and isn’t sure of Brescia is his last chance to make amends. He also believes that a person like him can make a change.

“He could have been among the best attackers in the world but he made certain choices. I don’t agree with them, but the world is beautiful because everyone is made in his own way,” saidSneijder.
