Italian champions Inter Milan are prepared to offer highly rated Red Bull Salzburg attacker Karim Adeyemi a long-term contract in a bid to snap him up ahead of other interested teams. This is according to the report from German broadcast outlet Sport1. It was stated that the Nerazzuri are prepared to give German international Adeyemi a lucrative five-year deal.
Inter Milan have already submitted their offer as reported by the earlier mentioned broadcaster and that German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund are in pole position to sign Adeyemi who has three caps for four-time world champions Germany.
Apart from Inter Milan and Borussia Dortmund, Adeyemi is also under the radar of big European teams such as Real Madrid, Liverpool, Paris Saint Germain (PSG) and Spanish La Liga champions Atletico Madrid.
Adeyemi has impressed a lot of clubs with his tireless performances in the colours of Red Bull Salzburg this season and Inter Milan are keen to add him to their squad in the quest to boost their attack with younger signings.
The Nerazzuri have two ageing players in EdinDzeko and Alexis Sanchez in their attack at the moment though Chilean national team star Sanchez has been seriously linked with a move away from the club ahead of the January transfer window. It has been reported that Inter Milan are keen to get his huge salary off their wage bill.
For Bosnian striker Dzeko, Inter Milan signed him from fellow Italian Serie A side Inter Milan when they lost star striker RomeluLukaku to Chelsea in the summer in a €115m deal.
Inter Milan are still in the race to sign Adeyemi and widespread reports claim that the Italian champions and other interested teams will know their fate in the coming weeks with the 19-year-old attacker expected to make a decision on his future at the end of this month.
